The first compilation of activities within the Danish optics community was carried out in 1996, published in a
special issue of DOPS-NYT, followed by the second edition published in 1999. The third edition was created in 2003
as an online, searchable database, which allows for existing entries to be updated immediately and for new entries
to be added. This is the upgraded 2004 version of the DOPS directory.
