Koheras launches a High Power Laser, based upon Photonic Crystal Fiber

KOHERAS INDUSTRIKtm HPM15 is the first high power CW laser based upon Ytterbium doped double-clad Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF). Due to the unmatched characteristic of the PCF this fiber laser module features a unique combination of highly stable output power, excellent beam quality with diffraction limited output and a relatively narrow spectral width.

The optical characteristics, compact design and high wall-plug efficiency makes the KOHERAS INDUSTRIKtm HPM15 the laser of choice for many demanding industrial and scientific applications.

Among many applications the laser is ideally for Thermal printing (Flexo Printing), Micro machining, Engraving, Plastic welding and Scientific Research.

The product is available as a compact stand-alone module, ready for operation. RS232 interface is provided for computer control. Optionally other type of bus interfaces can be delivered.
