The news reported in OPN, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2005, is always of significant, compelling interest to the Society\'s international membership of scientists, engineers, academics and entrepreneurs. The magazine\'s editorial content is overseen by a committee of OSA members which includes a chair, nine at-large members and the contributing editors of the magazine. The contributors to the magazine are primarily scientists specialized in the field of optics. Among them are Nobel Prize winners and recipients of other prestigious awards for professional and scientific achievement.
